Kidney Education Classes

At DCL, we invite you and a friend or family member to attend an education program for people with kidney disease. This program is designed to acquaint you with kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and adjusting to life with kidney disease.  This program is available free of charge.

The goal of this program is for you and your support system to be more comfortable living with kidney disease. If, after attending the class, you desire additional, individualized support, you will have the opportunity to enroll in our Kidney Care Management (KCM) program.  KCM allows you to meet one-on-one with a team that consists of a nurse, registered dietitian, and social worker.  This program is also offered free of charge.

Although it may not be easy to attend this class, we strongly encourage you to make an effort.  A friend or family member may attend with you.

Please complete the form below to request registration for the Kidney Education class. For more information, contact Jerenda Holloway, LCSW Social Work Coordinator at 402-489-5339.
