Dialysis Center of Lincoln (DCL), Nebraska’s largest independent, nonprofit dialysis organization, and Ambassador Health, a local, family-owned rehabilitation center, have formed a strategic partnership that will provide hemodialysis services on-site for those with end stage kidney disease and/or acute kidney injuries. Through the innovative partnership, there is no need for rehabilitation residents to travel outside of Ambassador Health to receive high-quality dialysis care. This allows residents to maintain a normal rehabilitation schedule, including appointments, meals, and activities, in order to return to their homes as soon as possible.
DCL has been recognized for innovations since its founding in 1987. DCL was the first freestanding dialysis facility in Nebraska created by the joint effort of two independent hospitals: Bryan Health and CHI Health-Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center. Satellite units are located in Columbus and Lincoln.
